Xbox One S price
At Gamescom 2017 Microsoft also announced a limited edition Minecraft edition of the Xbox One S, which comes with a 1TB hard drive, an exclusive Minecraft paint job, and copies of both Minecraft and the Redstone Pack expansion. The Minecraft edition is out on 3 October, but you can pre-order it now directly from Microsoft for £349.99/$399.99, or also from Argos in the UK. There’s also a special Minecraft Pig controller, which will be sold separately.
Microsoft Xbox One S specs and features
The Xbox One S is smaller than the original console – it’s 40 percent smaller, in fact. You can see that the design is white with a new style to the front and top including tiny square holes. There’s also a vertical stand so you can have the console upright. It looks like white is the only option for now, and Microsoft calls that white “Robot White.” See our best Xbox One games round-up. Despite making the Xbox One S so much smaller, Microsoft has managed to fit the power brick inside so no longer have you got to find somewhere to hide it near the TV. Inside the Xbox One S is a hard drive ranging from 500GB to 2TB so there’s plenty of storage space for new games, app and media. Microsoft is also touting a new ‘streamlined’ controller which comes in a matching white colour. It features and ‘enhanced textured grip’ and Bluetooth for using it with Windows 10 PCs.
