When is the Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 Watch release date?
The new Tag Heuer smartwatch was announced on 14 March 2017 at 11am. The onsale date has not yet been announced, though we will update this article when it is known.
How much will the Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 Watch cost in the UK?
Tag Heuer is a luxury Swiss watchmaker with over 150 years of experience, and the second-gen Connected Watch announced in March 2017 was developed and assembled entirely at the company’s manufacturing site in La Chaux-de-Fonds. The Tag Heuer brand is a stamp of quality, and as such the new watch will set you back a fair amount. Tag Heuer’s Connected Modular 45 Watch will cost £1,400 in the UK. What are the features and specifications?
Built using high-quality materials such as titanium, ceramic and rose gold, this is a 45mm-diameter modular smartwatch for which you can swap out the connected module itself, the lugs, the straps and even the buckle. Inside you’ll find an Intel Atom Z34X-series processor, 4GB of RAM and connectivity that includes GPS (for location data and navigation), NFC (for payments) and Wi-Fi (that allows it to update even when your phone is switched off). There’s a high-definition AMOLED screen with sapphire crystal touchscreen for which you can select from a huge range of customisable dials. The Connected Watch is waterproof to 50m, and also features a water-resistant mic that lets you control it by voice. Alternatively, you can use the touchscreen or command crown on the right edge of the device. The lithium battery is said to offer more than 24 active hours of life. The Connected Modular 45 runs the latest version of Google’s smartwatch operating system, Android Wear 2.0, which also works with iPhones.
