All the signs point towards Samsung reaching market first with their foldable smartphone solution thanks to a recent interview with the CEO of their mobile division. The original word for the foldable phone was to release early next year and while DJ Koh didn’t say anything too specific, he mentioned that the company could be planning to officially unveil the phone at the Samsung Developer Conference, which takes place on 7-8 Nov in San Francisco. While we know very little official details, we have been reassured that this phone will be a finished product and not just a gimmick. There will be added functions when it’s in an unfolded state so early adopters have a reason to buy it. More details will emerge as we come closer to November.
