With a built-in heart-rate monitor the Galaxy Watch can track up to 39 activities, auto-detecting six. It’ll even monitor your sleep cycles and coax you into calming down when your heart rate is abnormally high. The new Galaxy Watch comes in Midnight Black (42mm), Rose Gold (42mm) and Silver (46mm) with customisable watch faces and straps. There are standard Bluetooth and LTE options, and the latter allows you to stay connected at all times – you’ll be able to make calls, send and receive messages, and receive notifications without carrying your phone. On both versions of the Watch you can see at a glance information about your day, with a Daily Briefing, weather reports, access to your to-do lists and more. Galaxy Watch syncs with your calendar, and the Bixby voice assistant is also built-in. The circular Galaxy Watch with rotating bezel is gorgeous, as we’ve come to expect from Samsung. It has a high-res AMOLED Always-On Display, with military-grade durability that includes Corning Gorilla Glass DX+ screen protection.

When is the Galaxy Watch release date?

The Bluetooth Galaxy Watch will be available from 7 September. Preorder 42mm Rose Gold/Midnight Black Galaxy Watch. Preorder 46mm Silver Galaxy Watch. The LTE Galaxy Watch will be available later this year exclusively through EE.

How much does the Galaxy Watch cost?

Direct from Samsung Galaxy Watch pricing is set at £279 for the 42mm version, and £299 for the 46mm model. Those who pre-order now also get a free Wireless Charger Duo worth £89, which allows you to charge your watch and phone at once. EE has confirmed it will also stock the Bluetooth model for £329. Alternatively, you’ll be able to add it to existing plans interest-free and spread the cost over 11 monthly payments. Pricing is not yet available for the LTE model, but we’d expect it to come in with at least a £100 premium.
