Fable Legends UK release date rumours: When is Fable Legends coming out?
Fable Legends will be completely different from the first three Fable editions, with unprecedented features in the video game sector. For this reason, as the creative director David Eckelberry explained, a long closed beta is required. He wants to avoid any disastrous release that players would never forget. But that means Fable Legends is taking a long time to create. Development first began back in 2012 and the game was announced in August of 2013. We got our first look at gameplay footage in June of 2014, and the closed beta started in October of 2014. But as the end of 2015 approached, it became clear that Fable Legends wouldn’t be coming out in its scheduled release year of 2015. On 14 December, Lionhead addressed concerns about the game’s release date and confirmed that it had been delayed until 2016. Also on 14 December, Lionhead revealed some good news: an open beta for the game will begin within the first half of 2016, but we’ve yet to find out an official date for the kick off of the open beta. We’ll update this article with more information as soon as it becomes available.

Fable Legends gameplay
What are these innovative features that are causing such careful testing? Firstly, Fable Legends will be cross-platform playable; you will be able to play it across both your Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Secondly, it will be a multiplayer game. Differently from the previous single-player Fable versions, up to five people will be able to play in the same storyline, which will have a four versus one dynamic; four heroes will fight against one mischievous villain. You can also chose to play alone and decide to be accompanied by other AI-controlled heroes or to take on the adventure alone. You are free to choose any of the four heroes available at time, embarking on adventurous researches and scenic fights through the occult land of Albion, trying to avoid the obstacle devised by the villain. If you want to unload your hidden cruelty, you can choose to be the bad guy, with the power to command many malicious characters and set up traps that prevent the good from triumphing. Familiarly, you’ll also be able to interact with villagers, play mini-games and customise characters in the hub-city of Brightlodge.
